The first article was another interesting expirement conducted by malcolm gladwell, i think the reason more people began picking the blue is because growing up you always recignize blue with safty or cold and red with hot or danger so you tend to stay away from the red items...The height article was rather interesting and i guess i tend to agree that it does seem more taller men are CEO's being more on the short side this isnt a great statsitic for me but whatever.

the tall article was very intresting because of the fact that taller males receive on average mor money than shorte people.

i found his perspective regarding the tall vs short actice to be interesting. I do however disagree. wile height may be a role in the amount of self confidence in some instances i do not feel like it is the defining charecterstc that leads to success.

The first excerpt from blink was very interesting. It explained how our brain makes decisions before we are even conscious of the decision. The experiment that was setup was very intelligent and it is very interesting how a lie detector machine was used to detect the stress level through your hands. I find it a little bit hard to believe that our brain makes decisions that we are not conscious of, but if this is true than that’s an ingenious discovery.

I liked this article on tall people, having more of an advantage in life then a shorter person. It was interesting when he said, "That means that a person who is six feet tall, but who is otherwise identical to someone who is five foot five, will make on average $5,525 more per year." Pretty much if you are tall then you are going to have more job oppurtunities then a shorter person, and better payroll. I never would have looked into height being an advantage.

Why do we love tall men?: I found it interesting how tall men are treated differently from short men. I never really noticed when this occurs but now that I think about it I find that it happens very often. Money Wise is something I thought was the best part of the experiment because that is an area that would not really be looked at by most people and is odd how height can make such a difference.

i thought the second article was very intresting and i never realized about tall men and how studies show that they hold better jobs. i think that that is unfair but if you think about it, noone would ever really know about that fact. overall the article is very shocking.

The second excerpt from Blink was on the advantages of being tall. I can not believe people actually do studies on the abstract theories. The statistics that were presented are very interesting. I had no idea being short all my life was actually a disadvantage.
