  1. I side with the heads of the Eagles. Even thought Terrell has the reputation for being an amazing football player, he also has the reputation for having an outragious attitude. Though the team may not make it to the Super Bowl this year without Terrell atleast they can say they're a team when he's gone, something they can't do at the moment.

  2. There is a point at which an NFL team must take all of the crap that an NFL player says and does. At the beginning of the season, TO was at this point, but over the last week or two, TO jumped right over that point. He is a complete mess that is a horrible asset to the team. No "apology" that he has can make up for the problems that he has caused within the organization. The Eagles best player isn't at full strength and they are 4-4 with TO. With a heealthy Donovan, they wouldn't need TO.

  3. I think the Eagles made a good decision to drop T.O. Although the Eagles may not get to the Superbowl, they can atleast practice better without the critiscm from Owens. Although he is a great football player, if he doesnt have a good attitude towards the game and his teammates then there is no point in him even being on a team. All his criticsm brings down the spirits of other players on the Eagles. I think that with T.O. the Eagles are better off.

  5. I think T.O's comments were very stupid and he should be punished for his action. I don't think the eagles should have went as far as to suspend him for the rest of the season but he should be punished.

  6. I think that T.O. should be punished for what he said. I don't think the eagles should have went as far as to suspend him though.

  7. I think the eagles made the correct decision in suspending T.O. without pay because they shouldnt allow him to get away with what he said. He causes so much havoc for his team which interferes with the eagles getting prepared for there upcoming games. Even if they had T.O. playing who knows if they would make it to the Super Bowl or even get to the playoffs. Also by suspending him it gives other players more opportunities for playing time and gives the eagles a good look at what they have and how they can improve what they have.

  8. T.O has been a great problem to the Eagles this year. The Eagles frustration is understood, but they have taken the wrong actions. T.o is essential to them to win, and without him they have little chance of making it to the superbowl. By getting rid of him they are showing that they are willing to lose and this is wrong. This will upset the fans. T.O should definitely be tolerated until the end of the season. Matters should be dealt with then, and important decisions involving the release of T.O or his contract should be taken into action then. I think the Eagles have made a huge mistake in suspending T.O indefinitely!

  9. I think T.O. should be punished but a suspention for the rest of the season is harsh. He is arguably the best reciver of our time maybe even of all time and your not gonna let him lay becasue of a horrible attitude. i think they should put into his contract or make him sign somehting saying that if his temper is off the walls he will then be suspended with no pay.

  10. T.O is the greatest receiver in the NFL today. By suspending him they hurt their chances of winning games, which is what brings fans to the stadium. In fact T.O personally brings fans. T.O has already tarnished his image the team did not have to do this. The loss of millions is justice enough and should be an indicator to other players and him to never do this again. You could trade him and probably get something big for him. Also, Frank Trezza said that they are 4-4. That is the running games fault, not T.O's. This suspension may be overturned by the NFL and that would be the best thing. Lastly, the man risked his career for the team, he should get some leeway. Ironically, the Eagles may have done something that "detrimental to the team".

  11. The people are doing the right thing by taking terrell owens out from the eagles. This should cool him down a bit and make him care about his work. Even though he is a great football player

  12. The Eagle were 4-3 at that time. Owens after the lost to Denver got into a fight with another teamate in the locker room. He was very bad and it cost him. I think it was the right thing to do to TO. I am on the Eagles side, but since his suspension they will not go th the Super Bowl this year and can try again next year with no problems ahead with TO.

  13. i think taht the eagles should have kept T.O because he was very good for there team, and i think that since the whole leauge is basically about winning(even tho they dotn want to admit it), they should have held out a bit longer and delt with him and kept him and then they would have gotten a chance to make it to the superbowl or whatever. and plus, he didnt even seem that bad...

  14. I agree that T.O should not be played. He casued so many problems, and was warned about his actions many times. Last time he just took it too far. The Eagles aren't doing amazing with him, and if they would have made it to the superbowl with T.O., they can do it without him. Just because you are a great player doesn't mean you can criticize the team and it's players. The "appology" he gave was not from his heart. His agent had him write them so he could play again. T.O has got to learn to respect his team, because at the momnet the Eagles are better off without him.

  15. I agree with the eagles decision. TO is a great player, but he's been all about publicity lately. Also he cares way to much about his contact, when he should be more focused on practice and his games. If he wasn't so cocky all the time he would be liked a lot more and would probably have a great NFL career.

  16. T.o has a attitude most of the time and needs to control it and he has a talent that most people dont have and he acts crazy and gets suspended but thats t.o for ya but suspension is a lil harsh.

  17. i think that both T.O. and the philadelphia egales are at a lose because the egales arent going to be as strong of a team defensivly and t.o. is at fault also because no one is going to want to endorse someone who is a winer and a person who cause problem

  18. terrell's self centered and cocky attitude has gone over the edge these past two weeks. i would side with the eagles cause T.O has been casueing to many issues for this team ever since hes joined. and the statments he made about donovon and his team isent what a team player should do. but honestly i dont see eagles even coming close to the superbowl this year. Donovon is struggling, the once high ranked Defense is not playin good and now T.O out. doesnt sound like a superbowl team to me. but i think its right for T.O to sit out the rest of the season. and he will return next year, but in a differnt uniform

  19. I think that the Eagles' punishment on Terrell Owens was too harsh. I think that they need to realize that he was a big part of the team and that he will definitely be missed, even though he is a problem off of the field. He goes out every week and plays as hard as he can, even if he's hurt (like last year in the Super Bowl). This shows so much dedication towards his team and towards his effort of winning, and I do not think it was right to suspend T.O. for the rest of the NFL season. It's bad for the NFL as well because a lot of T.O. fans will not be watching this week, which loses money for both the Eagles franchise and the NFL.

  20. T.O. should be suspended but the Eagles are making a big mistake by dropping him and letting the future hall-of-famer slip away. He should be suspended for four games and then brought back to play the remainder of the season in my opinion.

  21. I think the Eagles did the right thing suspending T.O. He is just being a jerk. All his negativity is making the team look bad. The suspension is a good thing.

  22. What makes what he is doing worse than other players. Ron Artest hit a fan and his team kept him. Rodman was a great player, dressed in a white wedding dress, but was not suspened by his team. Many people take drugs and teams stick with them. What makes T.O any worse and what are the Eagles trying to prove? All he did was speak his mind and try to make some money. They knew this could possibly happen because he is a hot-head and thus this is just wrong. There are so many players who get less than he did but did so much more. To all you Eagle sympathsizers don't you think that this may be an infringement of T.O's first amenment because although he got in a fight this was more on his comments because this did not happen to the other guy. If it was only on the fight then Hugh Douglas should go.

  23. I side with T.O ... he is one of the best wide recivers to play this game and he is the reason the eagles went to the super bowl last year he was there extra push to get them over the top and all though they did not win T.O had the most yards in that game so i say a T.O weather hes is being a loud mouth - big headed jerk , or injured with a broken leg is better then no T.O

  24. I think that the Philadelphia Eagles' puninshment of All-Pro Wideout Terrell Owens was much to harsh and uncalled for. Yes, T.O. did violate team policy and general team expectations, but in no way should his punishment be to this extent. There have been other instances in professional sports in which athletes have performed similar acts, but not punished to this extent. T.O. is one of the best wide receivers in the game, why suspend your best player? Isn't professional sports, especially professional sports all about winning?

  25. I think a person should be profesional not only in the work place but outside it too. I think T.O. should stick to what he says, should stop criticizing and then saying he regrets what he said. He should shut up and do what they are paying him to do.

  26. I think the Eagles did the right thing because even if they won the super bowl they would've gone through too much trouble dealing with T.O. and something like this would've happened anyway sooner or later. If they had not dropped T.O, they would've just been delaying something like this from happening anyway so it's better if they just got this over and done with now instead of waiting until later to deal with it.

  27. I agree with the eagles decision. TO is a great player, but he causes too many problems both on and off the feild. He is not a class act and doesnt show good morals or ethnics. TO is a "show me the money" which causes a lot of problems. I think suspending him is a great start.

  28. i think it was far that T.O was suspended for four games. Even though he is the one who got the Philidelphia Eagles to the super bowl. Every time T.O talks badly about his teammates he is going to be a bench warmer at the games. In T.O's case this was a wake up call telling him he doesn't have the right to trash talk his players and hopefully he will learn from his mistakes. For the other players this will be there chance to show the fans how they play there best games. If T.O keeps up with his act know one is going to want him on there team know matter how good or far he can get a team.

  29. I feel that T.O. has alot of appoligising to do if he wants his career to continue on. T.O. might be realised as a free agent and loose his contract. I think they should realese him so that he can learn a leason and let the jets pick him up.

  30. this is a very similar situation to what happened last year with randy moss, although the eagles aren't having the season the vikes did that year, they decided to get rid of moss, one of the best NFL recievers, he wasn't as offensive to his team as T.O, but the similarities are hard to ignore. Anyway, the vikes let Moss go, and look where they are now, bad eagles, bad.

  31. Is T.O worth all this frustration and chaos? No. Sure Owens is one of the most skilled athletes to play wide reciever but he has to learn to shut up. The Eagles have a record of 4-4 with Owens. Sure you have a benefit going into a game with T.O. on your team but in this point of the season i dont think it is worth the Eagles to deal with his b.s. The Eagles should come out playing fooball to prove that you dont need T.O. to go to the playoffs/super bowl, all you need is a team that knows how to work together. With T.O., it just makes the aspect of a "team" harder to fulfill.

  32. I think that they should keep him on the team ebcause he is an awesome player, as people say, and so if they think that he can help them get to the top, then i think they should stick with him. His anger problems have to go, but theres people who can help him with that ...

  33. i think T.O. should be cut and have no chance to come back. i think that because he was mean to other players on his team and got in a fight with one of them. he also is making fun of his quaterback. even though he is great i think the should just get ride iof him and forget him because hes only gunna slow them down
